What this website does
The site shares information about the foundation and records gifts. Card payments are taken on the card processor’s page. Transfer gifts are stored here until the office confirms them. The zakat calculator keeps the numbers you type in your browser.
Information you choose to send
When you record a gift, the site stores your name, email, amount, currency, and the method you chose. A donor account stores the same email and a password hash. The volunteer form stores your name, phone, and note, and can still open WhatsApp. Card numbers are not stored on this website.
Services that receive information
The site is hosted for the foundation. Vercel Analytics can count visits only after you accept that cookie. Resend sends receipts and account messages. Mailchimp receives a newsletter address only after you tick the consent box. Card and PayPal gifts are completed on those services’ own pages. The foundation still needs to confirm the legal wording of this notice.
Cookies and visits
Sign-in uses a necessary cookie. A currency choice is stored in another necessary cookie. Visit counts run only if you accept analytics. You can change that choice on the cookies page.
How long records stay
An account-closure request removes the session, name, phone, and address, and stops newsletter mail. The email address and the gift, payment, and receipt records stay so the office can keep its accounts. The foundation still needs to confirm how long those records are kept.
Photographs
Photographs on the site illustrate kinds of help. They are not pictures of the foundation’s own visits, and they are not used to identify a donor or a person who asked for help.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated text will appear on this page with a new date.
