Use our Zakat Calculator to estimate the Zakat that may be due on your eligible wealth. Enter the relevant asset values and eligible deductions to calculate an estimate based on the method and assumptions displayed.
You can give through the donation page. Choose the project the gift should support and enter the amount yourself. The gift is recorded in the currency you select and is not converted. Transfer gifts are confirmed by the office before they are counted. This website does not keep a separate zakat balance apart from the project you choose. Tell the office that the gift is zakat when you contact them. The calculator does not send these figures to the donation form.
The estimate is 2.5% of eligible assets after the deductions you enter, when that net amount is at least the nisab you selected. It assumes the wealth has been held for one lunar year. The calculator does not check that period.
Gold nisab is 87.48 grams of gold. Silver nisab is 612.36 grams of silver. Each threshold is that weight multiplied by the price per gram in your currency. The page shows the currency and the market-price date when that price has loaded. If you type a price, the nisab uses your figure.
Included assets are cash and bank balances, investments such as stocks and funds, business assets and inventory, money owed to you, and the value of gold and silver you own. The deduction is debts and bills you enter as due within the next lunar year. A home you live in, personal belongings, and a vehicle for personal use are not fields in this calculator.
